For years, Hollywood bigwigs have been using their outsized influence to keep the facts about Israel’s violent occupation hidden behind a veneer of victimhood. They have framed Israeli brutality as ‘self-defense,’ while demonizing pro-justice entertainers and the peaceful Boycott, Divest, and Sanction movement.
Israel has destroyed Palestinian hospitals, attacked patients, denied medical travel permits & targeted healthcare workers…The American Medical Association has issued press releases calling the targeting of healthcare workers in Ukraine “unconscionable.” They must also do this for Palestinians…
Human Rights Watch investigated several Israeli attacks that resulted in particularly high numbers of civilian casualties – with no evident military target – and determined that the incidents may have been war crimes. Other Israeli attacks during the conflict were also likely unlawful.
One expert is calling for President Biden to face impeachment over his support for Israel. The Biden administration has green-lighted Israel’s bombing of Gaza, blocked the UN Security Council from addressing Israel’s assault on Gaza, and is now sending more weapons to Israel in violation of international law.
