Israeli occupation forces have just killed another Palestinian youth. The heavily armed Israeli combat soldiers say the boy tried to attack them with a knife (not independently confirmed). Afterward, Israeli forces stormed the teen’s village (which Israeli soldiers & settlers have periodically attacked through the years), launched tear gas, fired rubber bullets, ransacked his home & interrogated his parents….
The UN published its biweekly report on the humanitarian situation in the Palestinian territories. As usual, Israeli soldiers and settlers carried out numerous attacks, and property damage, including uprooting hundreds of Palestinian farmers’ trees.

She spoke out against racism and discrimination, and has been called ‘a revolutionary.’ Some have written: ‘Even to the end of her life, she remained committed to our mantra: none are free, until all are free…’ Progressive groups are sending out emails about continuing ‘her legacy’ of ‘fighting for justice.’ Imagine the impact she could have had if she’d included Palestinians in her concerns, and spoken out against Israeli violence and apartheid, instead of remaining silent and endorsing Israel…
“We don’t have safe places to play because we are surrounded by settlements, the separation barrier, and a military base,” said Sima. “I spend my time playing in front of the house, watching TV, or visiting relatives.” Villagers must present permits each time they want to leave and return to their village. And there is more… This is largely due to the Israel lobby, and continues even though most Americans feel we give Israel too much money, and despite the fact that Israel is not an ally, has spied on the U.S, stolen American technology, and tried to sink a U.S. Navy ship.
