It’s in Israeli media, but not in the US: three of Israel’s largest banks have been actively laundering money for thousands of wealthy Americans in massive tax-evasion schemes. The US State Department lists Israel as a “major money laundering country.”
The latest United Nations report on Israeli violence at the Gaza border was allegedly rebutted by the American Jewish Committee; however the AJC defense came up very short on facts.
Gideon Levy writes in Ha’aretz: “The apartheid did not start with him and will not end with his departure; it probably won’t even be dented. One of the most racist nations in the world cannot complain about its prime minister’s racism.”
Netanyahu: “Israel is not a state of all its citizens. According to the nation-state law we passed, Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people — and not anyone else.”
Addameer reports that since the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory in 1967, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been detained under Israeli military orders–approximately 20 percent of the total Palestinian population in the oPt and as much as 40 percent of the total male Palestinian population… 8,000 Palestinian children have been arrested since 2000. Boys and young men are seized in the dead of night, blindfolded and cuffed, abused and manipulated to confess to crimes they didn’t commit. Every year Israel arrests almost 1,000 Palestinian youngsters, some of them not yet 13.

Philip Giraldi argues that US media is already over-regulated, and the bodies that oversee the regulating (for example Congress and ADL) can not be trusted to have our interests at heart.
On March 19th, with no advance warning, Israel evacuated a Palestinian school in Shaufat, Occupied East Jerusalem, then demolished it. The school’s principal reports that no official reason has been given.
Israeli human rights organization B’tselem discusses Israel’s “investigations” into killings of Palestinians, which have served no authentic purpose, but only created an illusion of inquiry. B’tselem calls on the international community to demand real accountability.
In Israel, two Palestinian political parties and one Jewish member of a mostly Palestinian party have been banned from running in the April 9th election; meanwhile a radical Jewish candidate stays in, despite the Attorney General’s recommendation to remove him from the ballot.
In the years since Israel’s “disengagement” from Gaza, the Israeli-imposed buffer zones have fluctuated wildly – between 100 and 1,500 meters on land and 3 and 9 nautical miles at sea, in violation of international humanitarian law.
