Yet another Palestinian child killed – this time by a private Israeli security guard at a checkpoint. Israeli forces then ransacked the victim’s family home.
After an alleged stabbing, Israeli soldiers shot Mohammad Salima, immobilizing him. Then, in what may be considered an extrajudicial execution, they continued to shoot him from “zero distance,” refusing medical care and allowing him to bleed to death. Israeli officials endorsed the action.
Omar Abu Assab was shot to death last week; Israeli officials have confiscated his body. Abu Assab is the 16th Palestinian minor to be killed by Israelis in 2021.
Israeli soldiers gathered and photographed 13 Palestinian children, forcing them to ‘say cheese’ before snapping an illegal image. The children, all in kindergarten and early years of elementary school, were forced to stand outside in a line. Several of the children were trembling and crying.

An Israeli sniper shot and killed teen Mohammad Da’das Friday during a peaceful protest against Israel’s theft of Palestinian land. Mohammad was the 15th Palestinian child killed in the West Bank in 2021.
