Israel killed 29 in 26 days, fighters fire 2 rockets, Israel shells Gaza

In the first 26 days of 2023, Israeli forces killed 29 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank (plus another child in Gaza died from wounds inflicted by Israeli forces last year). In response, Palestinian resistance fighters in Gaza fired two rockets into Israel. Today, Israel fired dozens of missiles into the besieged Gaza Strip, causing major damage

Kathy Manning (D-NC) wrote of her fear of Gazan rockets when she went on an Israeli tour to the city of Sderot (a town that numerous American politicians are taken to visit). But it’s clear that Manning knows little about the history and current context of Gaza and Sderot, and is missing essential facts. This video gives her the information that Israeli tour guides and US media leave out.

Israeli airstrikes vs Palestinian rockets: Facts & Stats on air attacks

US media reports on Israel-Palestine virtually always mention ‘thousands of rockets from Gaza.’ However, they don’t report how many people these rockets have killed, when they began, and what they look like. Media reports also fail to compare these Palestinian weapons to the weapons Israel uses in its airstrikes. If Americans Knew has now compiled thorough information on this topic, including a list of those killed by rockets, the dates of their deaths, and details on the Palestinian & Israeli weaponry involved.

Hundreds of Gaza protesters shot by Israeli forces risk limb amputation

Israeli soldiers have shot 7,000 demonstrators in Gaza over the past year with live ammunition. A top UN official warns that 1,700 of them have shattered limbs that may need to be amputated if Gaza doesn’t receive emergency medical help. Already, over 120 people have had arms or legs amputated, including 20 children.
