Israel continues its time-honored strategy of manipulating the mainstream U.S. media — this time muddying the coverage of the assassination of journalist Shireen Abu Akleh. Since 2000, 50 Palestinian journalists have been killed, and the world doesn’t know the names of any of them.
Israeli forces shot dead a Palestinian boy and shot another teen in the leg, a few hours after they killed a Palestinian-American journalist and injured another journalist… So far this year, Israeli occupation forces have killed 45 Palestinians, including 35 civilians: 8 children, 3 women & a female journalist; 17 Israelis have been killed…
Israel can falsely claim that the bullet that killed Shirin might not have been fired by its army, but there is nothing new here. Israel’s standard procedure is to whitewash its crimes.

There is an ongoing elimination of Christianity in the region where it was born being carried out by Israel and its friends. The United States has been the enabler of much of the change in spite of the prevalence of self-described devout Christians in Congress, many of whom ironically are vocal and even enthusiastic supporters of Israeli “security” policies.

The Associated Press shows yet again its affinity for whitewashing Israel’s crimes: this time, downplaying the death of a toddler at the whims of Israel’s harsh permit system. AP rarely covers Palestinian deaths in detail – it’s disappointing that when they did report on one, they misrepresented the context.
