But it’s clear that Manning knows little about the history and current context of Gaza and Sderot, and is missing essential facts. US media reports on Israel-Palestine virtually always mention ‘thousands of rockets from Gaza.’ However, they don’t report how many people these rockets have killed, when they began, and what they look like. Israeli soldiers have shot 7,000 demonstrators in Gaza over the past year with live ammunition.
