PBS stations around the US were scheduled to show a riveting new Frontline documentary, “One Day in Gaza,” but at the last minute the plug was pulled. While significant context is missing, the film includes clips important for Americans to see – including a young, unarmed teen being shot in her head. BBC, the coproducer of the film, broadcast it to British viewers. We are posting it below so that Americans can also view it.

For NYT, Israel Is Always Nearing ‘Apartheid,’ but Never Quite Gets There

The New York Times – most notably columnist Thomas Friedman – acknowledges that current policies and practices in Israel/Palestine are now and have been for decades a form of apartheid, yet for some unspecified reason, the paper has stated for twenty years merely that the region is “at risk of” becoming an apartheid state. In spite of profuse evidence from experts around the world and from Israel’s own legislation, NYT refuses to state the obvious.
