As is the case every week in the oPt, Israel has been busily using violence to break up peaceful protests, invading villages and arresting Palestinians (including women and children), disrupting freedom of movement, shooting at fishing boats, and demolishing homes. In other words, it was business as usual.

Leaders of Israel’s Strategic Affairs Ministry leaders see themselves as the heads of a commando unit, gathering and disseminating information about “supporters of the delegitimization of Israel” – and they prefer most of their actions be kept secret. Its Minister, however, gave a little away at one point, tweeting: “Had a great meeting with CNN Pres. Jeff Zucker on the role of CNN in the Mid.East. Looking forward to continuing our conversation #intv2017.”
Yahoo news: The study found that AP reports on Israeli deaths averaged three times longer than reports on Palestinian deaths, headlines reported on Israeli deaths at a rate four times greater than they reported on Palestinian deaths, and significant facts and context available in other news reports were often missing.
