Just because you don’t see Israel/Palestine in the headlines, doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Every day, Israel finds new & more cruel ways to treat Palestinians (& their allies), and Palestinians continue to resist their oppressors.
A bill before Congress seeks merely to stop US aid dollars from subsidizing the incarceration and torture of Palestinian children. Pro-Israel organizations would rather believe outrageous fallacies than stand up for these kids’ rights.
300 children in Israeli prisons are not in school so far this year. At least one school – in Hebron – was demolished, and its furniture confiscated several weeks ago, but classes started anyway. Education is a basic human right.
