For some basic info on the Palestine-Israel conflict, go here. For more critical context, skim thisthis, and this. To read about a remarkable but underreported, 20-month-long peaceful protest in Gaza against Israel, go here.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The number of Palestinians being killed in Gaza is lower since the October 2025 “ceasefire” began, about 270 days ago – about 4 per day, vs. over 100 per day during the 733 days of the “war.” But Israel is actively working (with Trump’s “Board of Peace“) to ethnically cleanse Gaza of its Palestinian population, even as the low-level killing continues. Genocide experts, along organizations like the United Nations and Amnesty International, maintain that the genocide is ongoing.

At least 11 Palestinians, including the director of the police station in Jabalia refugee camp, and several police officers, were killed Tuesday in a series of Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian officials.

NEWS & HEADLINES FROM ISRAEL:

Israel is a tiny country, about the size of New Jersey, with a population smaller than the US state of Georgia – about 10 million (of which about 20 percent are Palestinians), yet it is in the news constantly. As has been demonstrated again and again, however, mainstream media rarely covers Israel news accurately. IAK gets the facts – sometimes from Israeli media sites, where we can get a glimpse inside this country that is rife with turmoil and contradictions, and that receives $63 million a day from America.

A military source told Israeli Army Radio that the IDF is facing a personnel and equipment shortage, as reservists do not always show up, and vehicles are in need of repair. “The public and decision-makers hear about entire brigades operating in Lebanon, but in reality, the force is much smaller – far fewer soldiers, far fewer tanks, and far fewer vehicles. Parts of the reserve system are already, de facto, in a state of collapse,” the source said, adding that the situation is “becoming impossible to sustain.”

ISRAELI MEDIA: Israel launches $1M ‘Masa diplomacy’ program in push for pro-Israel advocacy through Diaspora youth:The program, proposed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Affairs Minister Gideon Sa’ar, stemmed from the rising antisemitism and disinformation* surrounding Israel.

*NOTE: Thanks to a yearslong program of indoctrination by pro-Israel organizations, the word “antisemitism” has taken on a new, distorted meaning that can include nearly all criticism of Israel – in other words, disapproval of the self-proclaimed “Jewish State” may be incorrectly labeled antisemitic.

What Netanyahu and others label as “disinformation” may be more accurately called “inconvenient truths.” When a human rights org publishes a report stating that Israel is committing genocide or apartheid, for example, Israel partisans generally accuse them of spreading disinformation, being antisemitic, or using a blood libel. What the accusers do not do is engage with the facts in the report to show mistakes or lies – because the reports are legitimate and documented.

IRAN, LEBANON, & SYRIA – NEWS & HEADLINES:

It can not be overemphasized that Israel is the impetus behind US policies and actions vis-a-vis Iran. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has been pushing the US to attack Iran for decades, using lies and deception. Under President Trump, he got his wish.

Israel has invaded Lebanon seven times in the last half century. Between 1978 and 2000, Israel maintained an 18-year occupation of southern Lebanon — Hezbollah was formed to fight that occupation.

Although Israel is not at war with Syria, the Israeli army has reportedly carried out over 1,600 violations inside Syrian territory since August 2025, and demanded the demilitarization of southern Syria – but also vowed to permanently occupy some areas.

Trump: No country ‘should be able to’ charge fee for Strait of Hormuz, will take ‘investments’ instead: Trump said Gulf countries indicated a willingness to increase investments in the US instead of paying transit fees “because I don’t think anybody should be able to charge a fee for the strait.” He continued, “The Gulf states are going to invest a tremendous amount of money into the US, and that was very satisfactory to me,” he said. “I think it’s actually much better… It’s not fair that we’re protecting this strait for the entire world.”

SYRIA

ISRAELI MEDIA: Why does Trump wants Israel to withdraw from Syria, and what does it mean for the IDF? – analysis: For Israel, there is no real strategic or tactical need to keep up the friction with Syrian villages along the buffer zone – and a re-think may be necessary in the future.

Mahmoud Khalil alleges conspiracy in lawsuit against Trump officials: The lawsuit claims conspiracy between top administrative officials and private groups to target the pro-Palestine advocate. “This case is about far more than what was done to me,” Khalil said Tuesday. “It’s about exposing the network of organizations, political actors, and institutions that work together to criminalize solidarity with Palestine and to make an example of those who refuse to stay silent.”

Another multimillion dollar social media campaign* worked to boost Israel: A social media campaign attacking Trump’s ceasefire deal with Iran was reportedly run by the president’s former campaign manager, Brad Parscale, as part of a broader contract for Parscale’s firm, Clock Tower X, on behalf of Israel. the purpose of the campaign was to prevent young conservatives from becoming critical of Israel.

*NOTE: The organization running this and many other pro-Israel campaigns, is Clock Tower X – a conservative-aligned digital infrastructure and communications firm that is a registered foreign agent of the Israeli government. It primarily targets Gen Z audiences and Christians across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. The firm also works to influence search engine results and train artificial intelligence systems, such as ChatGPT, to frame Israel positively.
