IMPORTANT NOTE: The number of Palestinians being killed in Gaza is lower since the October 2025 “ceasefire” began, about 280 days ago – about 4 per day, vs. over 100 per day during the 733 days of the “war.” But Israel is actively working (with Trump’s “Board of Peace“) to ethnically cleanse Gaza of its Palestinian population, even as the low-level killing continues. Genocide experts, along organizations like the United Nations and Amnesty International, maintain that the genocide is ongoing.
Six Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip Monday, and dozens were wounded. Journalists on the ground confirmed that children and women were among the most severely affected by an Israeli attack on the al-Mawasi “safe zone.”
The ambulance and medical‑transport system in Gaza is on the verge of complete shutdown, the Ministry of Health in Gaza warned on Monday, adding that Israeli restrictions and continued attacks have left most service vehicles out of operation. Nearly 70 percent of the ministry’s vehicles have reportedlt been forced out of service due to the ongoing blockade, direct targeting, and Israel’s continued ban on the entry of tires, batteries, oils, and essential spare parts.
Chickenpox infections climb among displaced children in Gaza, UN says
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has called for the immediate release of Palestinian healthcare workers imprisoned by Israel. The NGO said in a statement on Monday that it was “outraged by the treatment of healthcare workers, most of whom are being detained in dire conditions, without justification or cause”.

Gaza Is in a Water Crisis as Israel’s Blockade Makes Reconstruction Impossible: Since the first days of genocide, Israel has weaponized water, turning it into a tool of mass suffering. According to a report by Médecins Sans Frontières released in April 2026, about 90 percent of water, sanitation, and hygiene infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.
ISRAELI MEDIA: Photos show Israel building miles-long earthen barrier* inside area it holds in Gaza: Over 14 miles of the barrier are in place – equivalent to more than half the length of the coastal strip, which is 25 miles long and 7 miles wide, and home to over 2 million Palestinians. At least 60% of Gaza’s land is on the Israeli side; the Palestinian population has been expelled to the other side, where they mostly live in squalid tent camps. Palestinians fear that the line is morphing into a border.
The barrier reportedly goes beyond the Yellow Line, part of Trump’s planned temporary division of the territory, pending full Israeli withdrawal. US figures involved in Gaza have not commented.
*NOTE: Israel has built a barrier inside the Palestinian West Bank as well. The “apartheid wall” has become, in the words of Israeli human rights group B’Tselem, “a major political instrument for furthering Israeli annexationist goals. It serves for Israeli takeover of almost 10% of the West Bank… About 85% of the barrier’s meandering route winds through the West Bank. In other words, it runs through the occupied territory, and is not located along the so-called Green Line or in Israel proper. In 2004, the International Court of Justice found that the wall violates international law and must be torn down. That has not happened.
The new wall swallowing up 60% or more of Gaza’s land (without its residents) might aptly be called a “Genocide Wall,” as the Palestinians consigned to the other side are slowly dying of starvation, exposure, and disease, in addition to airstrikes and snipers’ bullets.

Israeli minister calls for settlement building in Gaza, claims enclave ‘part of Israel’

Palestinian Yousef Farahati, 19, died on Monday, three years after he sustained serious injuries during an Israeli assassination operation in Jenin city. Israeli forces shot Farahati in the head with live ammunition; his family added that the injuries resulted in paralysis, in addition to a loss of vision and the ability to speak.
ISRAELI MEDIA: IDF Kills Two Palestinians in Raid on West Bank Town as Settlers Steal Livestock: You can’t make this stuff up: Settlers enter Palestinian town, steal sheep as IDF guard; Palestinian “terrorists” are killed in the process. Settlers return to torch Palestinian property, steal more sheep.
The Israeli military said its soldiers entered the Palestinian town following a “report of Israeli civilians entering the village to remove animals belonging to them.”
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas plans election law change to block Barghouti* PLO bid
*NOTE: Marwan Barghouti, a Palestinian legend for his activism and long imprisonment, enjoys unparalleled popularity and is often described as Palestine’s Nelson Mandela. His power and influence are unique. If Palestinian elections were held, Barghouti could be elected president even from prison. He is now 67, and has been repeatedly assaulted in recent months by his Israeli jailers, leading to serious concerns over his safety. He has expressed his intention to run for president from prison.

Israeli Forces Demolish* 3 Homes in Hebron and Ramallah
*NOTE: Most home demolitions ordered by Israel are due to Palestinians’ “building without a permit.” Israel admits that its construction permit system is highly discriminatory. Since 2016, 95% – 99% of Palestinian requests for building permits have been rejected, according to data provided by the IDF’s Civil Administration. According to UN data, at least 14,000 homes have been demolished, displacing over 22,000 Palestinians, since 2009.

Israel is a tiny country, about the size of New Jersey, with a population smaller than the US state of Georgia – about 10 million (of which about 20 percent are Palestinians), yet it is in the news constantly. As has been demonstrated again and again, however, mainstream media rarely covers Israel news accurately. IAK gets the facts – sometimes from Israeli media sites, where we can get a glimpse inside this country that is rife with turmoil and contradictions, and that receives $63 million a day from America.
UK Consulate in Jerusalem X account suspended after highlighting Israel’s abuse of Palestinian detainees: The official X account of the British Consulate General in Jerusalem has been suspended after it published a joint diplomatic statement raising alarm over Israel’s treatment of Palestinian detainees.
Visitors to the @UKinJerusalem account are now met with a notice reading, “Account suspended.” X states only that it suspends accounts which violate its rules, but the platform has not publicly identified the rule allegedly breached or the content that prompted its action.
The UK Consulate’s account became inaccessible after the thread circulated publicly. The joint statement, however, remained visible through the EU’s diplomatic account and other missions which shared it.
Update: The @UKinJerusalem account was activated later on Monday. No explanation was given for the suspension.
Israeli minister calls for settlement building in Gaza, claims enclave ‘part of Israel’: Israeli Settlement Minister Orit Strock called on Monday for rebuilding settlements in the Gaza Strip:
“Jews should live in the Gaza Strip… Gaza is part of Israel not only according to the Torah and Halakha, but also according to international law,” she claimed.
International law considers Gaza part of the occupied Palestinian territory and says Israeli settlements in occupied land have no legal validity and violate international law and UN resolutions.
IRAN, LEBANON, & SYRIA – NEWS & HEADLINES:
It can not be overemphasized that Israel is the impetus behind US policies and actions vis-a-vis Iran. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has been pushing the US to attack Iran for decades, using lies and deception. Under President Trump, he got his wish.
Israel has invaded Lebanon seven times in the last half century. Between 1978 and 2000, Israel maintained an 18-year occupation of southern Lebanon — Hezbollah was formed to fight that occupation.
Although Israel is not at war with Syria, the Israeli army has reportedly carried out over 1,600 violations inside Syrian territory since August 2025, and demanded the demilitarization of southern Syria – but also vowed to permanently occupy some areas.
IRAN
President Trump said that “every time Iran kills an American Soldier they will pay for that killing many times over!” in a post on Truth Social Monday. Separately, the New York Times reported Monday that the military had withheld information on “dozens of U.S. service members” injured by Iranian attacks, a claim the Pentagon disputes.

LEBANON
Washington claims launch of ‘pilot zones’ in south Lebanon: The plan aims for the Lebanese army to take over occupied areas from the troops, but 2 of the 3 designated towns contain no Israeli forces. Local officials are questioning the plan altogether; Israeli leaders have said they have no intention of withdrawing – despite Tel Aviv “agreeing” on the pilot zone plan.
The pilot zones were only ever meant to be “symbolic,” Israel had postponed it again and again.
The mayor of the town of Froun said there had been no changes in his village, and IDF troops remained on its outskirts. Srifa’s mayor said he hadn’t even been told the program was meant to have started, and that the Lebanese military are there but indeed they’d been there since the war began and seemingly nothing had changed. The third town hasn’t seen the introduction of Lebanese troops at all.
Israeli media adds: While the United States is overseeing the process at the diplomatic level, it will not have personnel on the ground to monitor implementation. An Israeli source says it is “not clear” who will supervise the turnover.

Former UN oversight chief says ICC prosecutor Karim Khan is ‘victim of massive stitch-up’ (i.e. he was framed): International Criminal Court judge Karim Khan was accused of sexual misconduct right around the time he released arrest warrants for Israeli PM Netanyahu and others. Rules about reaching a verdict in his case have been manipulated to make it easier to convict him (he maintains he is innocent). Now, individuals are coming forward with suspicions that Khan was framed. Israel has worked to frustrate the ICC’s efforts for years.
