This is truly shocking: media giant BBC is bossed around by Israel. The headline “Israeli air strikes kill pregnant woman and baby” magically become “Gaza air strikes ‘kill woman and child’ after rockets hit Israel” when Israel’s foreign ministry spokesman ordered it to be changed “IMMEDIATELY.” A BBC spokesperson admitted that “although the original headline was not factually incorrect, we updated it to add more context to the story”. They added something else too, and it ain’t truth.
One BBC senior producer confided, ‘We wait in fear for the phone call from the Israelis,’” whenever they publish negative stories about Israel.
Killing of Palestinians is not new. It has been going on for decades, unabated, uncriticized, and bankrolled by the US. The Leahy Laws enable us to withhold aid to countries that commit human such rights abuses, but in spite of overwhelming proof of abuse by Israel, our politicians refuse to cut off military support.
Facebook has been on a censorship rampage against Palestinian activists who protest the illegal Israeli occupation, all directed and determined by Israeli officials. Israeli officials have been publicly boasting about how obedient Facebook is when it comes to Israeli censorship orders. In 2012 Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg helped former Israeli President Peres launch his Facebook page.
