Israeli forces killed three more Palestinians over the past 24 hours in the Gaza Strip, raising the death toll from Israel’s genocide since October 2023 to 73,329, the Health Ministry said Monday.
Rescue teams recovered the remains of 99 Palestinians from one home in Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood: The house was struck in multiple Israeli air raids between October 2023 and June 2025. Officials say around 8,000 Palestinians remain trapped beneath rubble across Gaza. Recovery efforts continue to be hampered by widespread destruction and a severe shortage of equipment.
Frail, exhausted, and visibly injured, 60 Palestinians released from Israeli detention arrived Monday at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, where emotional reunions with relatives quickly gave way to harrowing accounts of torture, beatings, and months of isolation behind bars.
Israel’s approval of limited Gaza force a stunt, experts say: Israeli media reported on Sunday that Israel has ok’d a small group of so-called International Stabilization Force (ISF) may enter Gaza in a “test” zone in the southern city of Rafah – in full coordination with the Israeli military. Analysts describe the limited deployment as a calculated diplomatic gesture to deflect US pressure ahead of Netanyahu’s visit to Washington this week, as Israel continues to stall on implementing Trump’s peace plan.
Students and staff work to bring Islamic University of Gaza back to life: Israel destroyed or damaged 19 educational buildings, about 500 classrooms, 200 scientific laboratories, and 75 computer laboratories; the central library lost more than 240,000 books, journals, references and academic theses.
DEATH TOLL – GAZA GENOCIDE (tentative):
- At least 1,200 since ceasefire began Oct. 11, 2025 (247 children, 191 women)
- 5 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Gaza since the ceasefire began – one by friendly fire, and four others in incidents during the first three weeks of the ceasefire.
- 73,329 killed (~22,000 children, 33,000 women and girls) since October 2023

NEWS & HEADLINES FROM THE OCCUPIED WEST BANK/EAST JERUSALEM:
Every day, Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem endure dozens of incidents like the ones below, at the hands of Israeli soldiers and/or settlers. For background on the West Bank, read this and this. For information on the significance of Israeli settlers in the West Bank, read this and this.)
A family from the town of Qaryut loses their unborn child after Israeli forces obstructed an ambulance at the Awarta military checkpoint, south of Nablus and subjected the pregnant patient to a search, though she was in critical condition and bleeding severely. They forced the ambulance crew to switch off the engine, causing the onboard medical equipment to stop functioning. The woman survived, but the baby was pronounced dead.
A week ago, a 30-year-old woman from the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, died of a heart attack after Israeli forces delayed an ambulance from entering the town.
Israeli Settlers Set Up At Least Six New Colonial Outposts After Friday Killings in the Occupied West Bank: Israeli soldiers and settlers have unleashed a campaign of terror on Palestinians across the occupied West Bank with home raids, shootings, assaults, mass detentions, and house demolitions.
Israeli occupiers (i.e. settlers) injure Palestinians near Jerusalem, seize West Bank home: Occupiers also attempt to steal livestock in Ramallah, open fire near Nablus as Israeli forces detain Jerusalem governor’s son.
ISRAELI MEDIA: Israelis Fight Over Framing of West Bank Attacks. But Settler Violence Is an Israeli Strategy: Last week’s encounter in the Palestinian town of Tell, in which 4 Palestinians and 2 Israelis were killed, shatters the foolish lie of wayward youth and spontaneous, isolated incidents. The Palestinians were not terrorists. This is a plan: attack Palestinian areas deeper and deeper inside the West Bank, to force them to leave.
Israeli authorities reportedly seized nearly 500 dunams (123 acres) of Palestinian land in the northern West Bank, as occupiers built eight illegal settlement outposts in the occupied territory since Friday. The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission said in a statement that the seizure was made to build a military road.

NEWS & HEADLINES FROM ISRAEL:
Israel is a tiny country, about the size of New Jersey, with a population smaller than the US state of Georgia – about 10 million (of which about 20 percent are Palestinians), yet it is in the news constantly. As has been demonstrated again and again, however, mainstream media rarely covers Israel news accurately. IAK gets the facts – sometimes from Israeli media sites, where we can get a glimpse inside this country that is rife with turmoil and contradictions, and that receives $63 million a day from America.

Netanyahu flight to US again crosses ICC member states’ airspace: Flight data show the aircraft carrying Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Washington passes through the airspace of Greece, Italy and France despite the ICC arrest warrant. In September 2025, Netanyahu’s flight avoided French airspace.

IRAN, LEBANON, & SYRIA – NEWS & HEADLINES:
It can not be overemphasized that Israel is the impetus behind US policies and actions vis-a-vis Iran. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has been pushing the US to attack Iran for decades, using lies and deception. Under President Trump, he got his wish.
Israel has invaded Lebanon seven times in the last half century. Between 1978 and 2000, Israel maintained an 18-year occupation of southern Lebanon — Hezbollah was formed to fight that occupation.
Although Israel is not at war with Syria, the Israeli army has reportedly carried out over 1,600 violations inside Syrian territory since August 2025, and demanded the demilitarization of southern Syria – but also vowed to permanently occupy some areas.

‘Beware’: Syrians clap back against Israeli leaflets with a message of their own: Residents of Syrian villages under threat from Israel have offered a cheeky retort to the threatening Israeli leaflets dropped recently. A hand-written sign beside a road near where Israeli forces have conducted raids, reads: “For your safety, entry into Syrian territory is strictly prohibited. Landowners will defend their land against anyone who enters. You have been warned. Beware.”

MORE NEWS & HEADLINES:
Abdul El-Sayed Faces Islamophobic Attacks From GOP and Democratic Establishment: AIPAC has spent nearly $30 million against the Michigan Democratic Senate candidate, fueling ads that paint him as a terrorist* sympathizer.
*NOTE: Israel’s framing of Palestinians as terrorists is a political, not fact-based choice. Palestinian attackers, including Hamas, are exercising – albeit imperfectly – their internationally recognized right to resist their oppressor and occupier (the UN extends that right to the point of armed resistance). Calling Palestinian resistance members “terrorists” is an attempt to delegitimize the struggle of a people seeking freedom, justice, and self-determination.
