Israeli media are reporting widely that Biden knelt before Israeli President Rivlin’s chief of staff during Rivlin’s White House meeting with Biden. The chief of staff, Rivka Ravitz, is an ultra-orthodox Israeli who lived in an Israeli settlement for many years, where her husband was deputy mayor. Biden promised his support for Israel was ‘engraved in stone.’
By Alison Weir. The European Jewish Congress has launched a worldwide social media campaign against “antisemitism” (which, in EJC eyes, includes opposition to Israeli human rights abuses). The man behind the campaign, EJC President Moshe Kantor, is a Russian-Israeli oligarch known for “unscrupulous business dealings” who says BDS is antisemitic, calls for severe punishment of “intolerance,” and is the founder of numerous international entities.
If Israel is Jewish, it cannot be democratic; if it’s democratic, it cannot be Jewish. But now the nation-state law makes it plain. Israel is for Jews only, officially.
