Some tombstone in an East Jerusalem cemetery contained the words “graves of martyrs of the Intifada of Jerusalem.” This was objectionable to Israeli forces, so they raided the cemetery in the middle of the night an broke the tombstones to pieces. That’s how it works under occupation.

What’s in Al Jazeera’s undercover film on the US Israel lobby?

Al Jazeera’s upcoming undercover documentary reportedly shows that neoconservative think tank Foundation for Defense of Democracies is working as a spy for the Israeli government. The organization is not registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
The film is also said to reveal deepening ties between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, as well as Qatar.

Arizona university forces speakers to sign pledge they don’t boycott Israel

Arizona State University requires speakers and other entities to sign a “No BDS” agreement before participating in events on campus. This didn’t set well with Hatem Bazian, who was invited to speak about Palestine and BDS. He filed a lawsuit against ASU for gross violation of free speech rights.

In January 2017 the Anti-Defamation League and Israel’s Reut Institute co-published a strategy paper that analyzed the movement for Palestinian rights and detailed diverse strategies to defeat it. The paper said that despite a “robust coordinated global effort” on behalf of Israel, increasing numbers of people were supporting Palestinian rights. Read the paper here…
