Did Israel harvest organs before returning corpses to Gaza? – Not a Ceasefire Day 32

Compilation of news reports – IAK staff

(While a “ceasefire” is ostensibly in place, Israel has continued its assault on Gaza without interruption. If Americans Knew considers the war to be ongoing, and in its 765th day.)

Since the “ceasefire” began, Israel has killed at least 243 Palestinians, including 97 children, with approximately 609 others injured.

Israel has violated the truce agreement at least 194 times.

The Gaza Ministry of Health stated that the Gaza Strip currently records the highest rate of limb amputations among children worldwide in proportion to its population.

Palestinian bodies returned by Israel with organs ‘professionally removed’: surgeon

The mutilated bodies of Palestinians returned by Israel show signs of expert organ removal, likely for organ harvesting, renowned British-Palestinian plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr Ghassan Abu Sittah has said after seeing photos of the victims.

“In all the bodies that organs were harvested or removed are those that are now routinely transplanted: the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys and corneas,” Abu Sittah said, adding, “there was no damage to the remaining organs, meaning the extraction was carried out surgically by an experienced surgeon.”

“The method of extraction – the rib cage and ribs were clipped with a sharp saw – a medical saw, a bone saw – and the sternum, along with the central part of the ribs, was lifted to allow for the removal of the heart and lungs without damage to the organs being taken,” he said.

Israeli government officials have previously admitted that Israel harvested the skin, corneas, heart valves and bones of Palestinians up until the year 2000 (continue reading here).

Senior UNRWA official describes difficulties getting aid into Gaza

John Whyte, UNRWA’s senior deputy director for Gaza operations, told Irish news outlet The Journal that Israel “just won’t let anything that’s owned by UNRWA go in. So they’re requiring us to hand our supplies over to other agencies, who then bring them in. But we also have to take the UNRWA logo off everything, which causes us a lot of hassle.”

“All of this is trying to just undermine the humanitarian effort, which has been the case right throughout the war,” Whyte said.

UNRWA’s 5,000 agency-owned trucks currently are blocked from entering the territory.

Only 4,453 trucks have entered Gaza since the ceasefire began, far short of the 15,600 expected by the end of last week, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office, as saying. Daily deliveries average 171 trucks instead of the 600 stipulated in the agreement, and Israel is blocking more than 350 essential food items, including eggs, meat, fish, and fresh vegetables while allowing nonessential goods at inflated prices.

Trucks carrying food and fuel are passing through the Kissufim Border Crossing and heading on November 06, 2025.

NEWS & HEADLINES ABOUT ISRAEL:

(Israel is a tiny country, about the size of New Jersey, with a population smaller than the US state of Georgia – about 10 million (of which about 20 percent are Palestinians), yet it is in the news constantly. As has been demonstrated again and again, however, mainstream media rarely covers Israel accurately. IAK passes along only factual reporting.)

Israeli forces arrested 442 Palestinians in October, including 33 children: Rights groups

The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society and the Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association have released these figures in a joint statement.

Rights groups and even the US State Department have accused Israel of frequently making arbitrary detentions of Palestinians, keeping people locked up for years in some cases without trials or charges.

As of April this year, an estimated 10,000 Palestinians were being held in Israeli jails.
