At least 22 Palestinians were killed on Saturday as Israeli forces continued their genocidal war on Gaza, according to medical sources.
Among the dead were six killed in the Mawasi “safe zone.”
Three more Palestinians were shot dead while trying to reach a US-backed aid distribution point in western Rafah.
Also on Saturday, the Nasser Medical Complex confirmed the death of Dr. Hamdi al-Najjar, who succumbed to his injuries days after an Israeli airstrike targeted his home in Khan Younis, killing nine of his children.
At least 17 people have died, 86 have been injured, and five are missing due to the US-Israeli aid delivery mechanism, the territory’s Health Ministry said on Saturday.
Dr Hamdi Al Najjar, husband of Dr Alaa Al Najjar, has now followed his 9 children as a Martyr.

An Arab ministerial delegation on Gaza has condemned Israel’s refusal to allow their visit to Ramallah as a “flagrant violation” of its responsibilities as an occupying power under international law.
In an official statement issued on Saturday, the delegation said Israel’s decision to prevent their visit to Ramallah reflects “the extent of the Israeli government’s arrogance, its disregard for international law, and its continued implementation of illegal measures and policies that besiege the Palestinian people.”
The delegation of Arab foreign ministers intended to discuss support for the establishment of a Palestinian state, according to the daily Yedioth Ahronoth, and included the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

Huckabee: Paris should ‘carve out piece of French Riviera’ if it wants Palestinian state
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee denounced France’s push for Palestinian statehood on Saturday, telling Fox News that Paris should instead “carve out a piece of the French Riviera” for the Palestinians.
“Oct. 7 changed a lot of things,” Huckabee said of Hamas’s 2023 murder spree that killed 1,200 people, primarily civilians.* “If France is really so determined to see a Palestinian state, I have a suggestion for them—carve out a piece of the French Riviera and create a Palestinian state,” he continued.
“They are welcome to do that, but they are not welcome to impose that kind of pressure on a sovereign nation. And I find it revolting that they think they have the right to do such a thing,” he said.
*NOTE: Israel’s claim that Hamas killed 1,200 Israelis on October 7th ignores a critical fact – one covered extensively in Israeli media, but meticulously overlooked in US mainstream media: many, if not most of the civilians killed that day were slaughtered by the overwhelming firepower the Israeli military deployed.
Go here for ongoing coverage of this and other October 7th myths. Also see this website dedicated to exposing the lies.
Huckabee’s comments (pro-Israel talking points) imply that history began on October 7th, as though the Hamas fighters attacked Israel for no reason. In fact, Israel has been oppressing Palestinians since its creation in 1948, and even before that.
The people of Palestine have many legitimate grievances for which resistance is an appropriate response. Israel is, according to the International Court of Justice, plausibly committing genocide, illegal occupation, apartheid, extermination, and a targeted campaign of starvation – to name a few.
International law supports the efforts of resistance groups against an occupying power, even to the point of armed resistance.
