According to the Committee to Protect journalists (CPJ), Israel is by far the world’s biggest killer of media workers. Israel is not only killing journalists, it is systematically torturing them — along with hundreds of other Palestinian hostages.
The targeting of the journalists, including one who had done work for CBS and AFP, marks Israel’s latest assault on the press in Gaza.
An Israeli report revealed that the military and security leaderships in the country have decided to alter their operations strategies by resuming the assassinations of Palestinian resistance fighters in several parts of the occupied West Bank, especially in Nablus.
