Displaced Palestinian mother in Gaza gives birth to quadruplets: On December 18, Iman gave birth to quadruplets in a hospital in southern Gaza far from her home. She was quickly asked to leave with the newborns – minus one who was too fragile to go with them – to make room for other patients of the war.
Like other mothers, Iman had hoped to follow tradition and celebrate the birth of her babies by “dousing them with rose water”, she said.
But 10 days on, “we have not even been able to bathe them”, she said, because of the difficulty of finding clean water in the devastated territory, where there is a dire shortage of basic foodstuff, including milk, medicine and hygienic supplies such as diapers.
Now they live in a cramped schoolroom turned shelter in Deir el-Balah along with around 50 other members of their extended family.

The disturbing video below shows the devastation from that attack.
Majority of Israeli Jews ‘support the removal of Palestinians from Gaza’: Antony Loewenstein, an Australian-German freelance investigative journalist and author, says that even before October 7, the majority of Israeli-Jewish citizens favored the relocation of Palestinians from Gaza. “Israeli-Jewish society has been radicalized,” Loewenstein said. “There was a poll just this week that found 70-80 percent of Israeli Jews support the idea of finding somewhere else for Palestinians in Gaza to be removed. Israel claims that this is somehow voluntary, which is nonsense.”
Forced population transfer is a crime against humanity.
Shin Bet received intel on timing of October 7th attack, but marked it as insignificant and ignored it, Israeli Channel 12 reported. Shin Bet had concluded “if this really nears implementation, we’ll receive additional intelligence” corroborating it. The information was reportedly not brought to the attention of senior Shin Bet officials, and the agency chief Ronen Bar never heard about it.
