In Gaza, at least one Palestinian was reportedly killed and nine others were wounded during the past twenty‑four hours. Medical teams stressed that these figures represent only the casualties they were able to reach.
Since the “ceasefire” began on October 11, Israel has killed at least 651 Palestinians. Over 1,741 have been injured. Death toll figures are tentative.
Israel has so far violated the 11 October ceasefire deal in Gaza at least 1,620 times (as of Feb. 1, 2026). More statistics below.
WAR ON IRAN NEWS & HEADLINES:
Why is If Americans Knew covering the war on Iran? It can not be overemphasized that Israel has been the impetus behind US policies and actions vis-a-vis Iran for years. This is especially true right now, under Donald Trump. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has been pushing the US to attack Iran for decades.
The American people have made clear that they do not want to go to war with Iran, but Israel partisans and the Israel lobby use their massive political clout to bring about whatever is beneficial to Israel – including putting the US military in harm’s way. Death toll (all numbers are tentative):
- 11 US troops have been killed since the war on Iran began, according to US Central Command (CENTCOM).
- In Israel, 15 people have been killed and 1,929 injured, the majority with minor injuries.
- In Iran, 1,444 people have reportedly been killed since the conflict began.
- In Lebanon, at least 773 people have been killed (at least 91 of them children).
- In other Arab states, at least 45 people have been killed.
IRAN:
UN: 3.2 million displaced in Iran: “This figure is likely to continue rising as hostilities persist, marking a worrying escalation in humanitarian needs,” UNHCR said in a statement.
Iran’s Missile Launcher Arsenal Holds Steady Despite Strikes: The number of Iranian missile launchers has held steady after a week of unrelenting airstrikes, according to Israeli and western estimates. The mobile launchers are key to Iran’s ability to fire its large supply of ballistic missiles. But finding the vehicles in such a large country poses a huge challenge.
Iran says it ‘cannot accept’ US calls for negotiations as ‘war crimes’ persist: Foreign Ministry spokesman says Tehran negotiated ‘in good faith’ before US-Israeli attacks.
In humiliation for US, Iran sending oil to China through Hormuz: In what appears to be a significant setback for the White House’s pressure campaign against Tehran, Iran has continued exporting large volumes of crude oil – roughly 1.1 million to 1.5 million barrels per day – to China through the Strait of Hormuz despite the US-Israeli attack and repeated warnings that the vital waterway could become unusable.
U.S./TRUMP ADMINISTRATION:
Rescue effort under way as US military refueling plane crashes in Iraq: A US military refueling aircraft crashed in western Iraq on Thursday, in an incident CENTCOM said was not the result of hostile or friendly fire. The aircraft had at least five crew members aboard; it was unknown whether there were any casualties. This is the fourth US aircraft downed since the start of the war on Iraq.
UPDATE: All six crew members of the aircraft are dead.
Iran says downed US aircraft was hit by “resistance” missiles: The Iranian air defense headquarters is saying that a US aircraft was shot down in western Iraq by missiles fired by resistance factions, killing its crew.
More than 250 US orgs oppose spending billions on war in Iran: A letter from the groups demands that the US Congress halt funding for the US-Israel war on Iran, saying it is diverting billions of dollars of funding from urgent needs at home.
Theft of ‘AI-powered drones’ from US army base sparks fears of potential false flag attack: Four military drones were stolen in November 2025 from an engineer battalion at For Campbell, KY, stoking fears they could be used in a false flag attack on US soil. Authorities released images of two individuals believed to be linked to the theft as the search for the missing drones continues.

5-year-old child killed by Israeli forces in northern Gaza: A five-year-old boy was killed in cold blood on Thursday afternoon after being shot with live ammunition by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beit Lahiya, north of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli forces kill two Palestinians in occupied West Bank: Israeli forces shot dead two Palestinians on Thursday near Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian officials said, in what the Israeli military said was an attempted car ramming attack. The Israeli army continues to withhold their bodies.
Israel Begins Construction of New West Bank Settlement: According to the settler-led local council, the settlement Ebal, north of Nablus is part of the ‘One Million in Samaria’ plan, which aims to raise the Jewish population to one million by 2050 while creating ‘territorial continuity’ in the occupied Palestinian enclave in the West Bank.

- At least 73,261 Palestinians killed, 183,839 injured – including:
- At least 72,136 killed (~22,000 children, 33,000 women and girls), 172,839 injured in Gaza
- At least 1,125 killed (~232 children), 11,700 injured in the West Bank
*NOTE: Thousands of those killed in Gaza have yet to be identified, and an estimated 8,000 more are still buried under rubble (some sources put the number of missing as high as 14,000); 3,000 more are reportedly missing.
Additionally, the numbers of injured and starved are very conservative estimates. Only the dead who are brought to hospitals are included in the official fatality count.
Reported Israeli death toll from October 7, 2023 – March 12, 2026: ~1,661 – including ~1,139** on October 7, 2023 (~36 children), 472 military forces since the ground invasion began in Gaza, about 52 military and civilians (by one count, there have been 59 victims) in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Israel (these numbers do not include deaths from the conflict with Lebanon or the war with Iran).
By one count, Israeli attacks have killed approximately 281 Palestinian journalists and media workers (as of Jan. 21, 2026); Palestinians have killed 4 Israeli journalists (other groups have tallied between 215 and 333 Palestinian journalists killed – depending on the criteria used).
