On June 13th conservative media personality Tucker Carlson posted a tweet on X about a potential U.S. war with Iran:
The real divide isn’t between people who support Israel and people who support Iran or the Palestinians. The real divide is between those who casually encourage violence, and those who seek to prevent it — between warmongers and peacemakers. Who are the warmongers? They would include anyone who’s calling Donald Trump today to demand air strikes and other direct US military involvement in a war with Iran. On that list: Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Rupert Murdoch, Ike Perlmutter and Miriam Adelson. At some point they will all have to answer for this, but you should know their names now.
(Sean Hannity and Mark Levin are prominent conservative broadcasters on Fox; Rupert Murdoch was longtime owner of Fox News (his son has now taken taken over); Ike Perlmutter is an Israeli citizen who served in the IDF, a billionaire who donated over $10 milliion for Trump’s campaign and is close trump; Miriam Adelson is an Israeli citizen, a billionaire who donated $100 million to the Trump campaign and is instrumental in shaping American policy on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.)
CNN anchor Jake Tapper was not happy with Tucker’s tweet. CNN averages 558,000 total viewers during primetime. Tucker’s post has over 12 million views.
