Israel’s targeting of civilian areas in Iran has resulted in multiple deaths of athletes, students, families, and other civilians across Iran.

Niloufar Ghalehvand, a professional Pilates athlete and trainer, was killed along with her parents in Israeli airstrikes in Tehran.
Iranian media confirmed that Ghalehvand was at her family’s home when she was killed in an Israeli airstrike.
Ghalehvand was a trainer at the Javan Plus sports club in Niavaran neighborhood of the capital.
Her death adds to mounting civilian casualties from Israeli strikes, including a champion equestrian killed with his family, 20 children among 60 people killed in a residential complex, and a teenage taekwondo student.
Israeli forces launched “Rising Lion” operation on Friday, targeting Iranian nuclear facilities and military sites, killing six senior Iranian military officials.
Iran retaliated with “True Promise 3” operation on Friday night, launching hundreds of ballistic missiles at Israeli military targets.
Israeli strikes continued on Saturday, hitting military bases, industrial facilities and Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport.
The targeting of civilian areas has resulted in multiple deaths of athletes, students and families across Iran.
Iran’s government has said punitive actions against Israel will continue “whenever and wherever necessary.”
