No matter what Cruz and his friends say, Massie’s primary made the reality of our corrupt political system impossible to keep hidden. It is all out in the open now.

We usually avoid making predictions, but every once in a while, a future event becomes so easy to forecast that we cannot resist. This week provided a perfect example.
After the Israeli lobby took out Thomas Massie, it quickly became clear that the Israel First caucus would seek to attribute the congressman’s defeat to any cause other than themselves. The public realizing the obscene amount of influence a foreign country has over our politics would threaten their scheme’s existence, making them desperate to keep their sinister behavior under wraps. Three days later, their effort is already underway.
Take a look at this tweet from Ted Cruz. According to the “Texas” senator, Massie lost his primary because of his purported opposition to the “MAGA agenda,” not to Israel. Washington’s “special ally” had nothing to do with the congressman’s downfall, he wants Americans to believe. Anyone who disagrees could wind up on the receiving end of one of Cruz’s signature “antisemite” smears.
If you consume independent media, you probably grasp the absurdity of the senator’s lies. Deep-pocketed groups like the Republican Jewish Coalition Victory Fund and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee obviously did not shell out a reported $16 million to unseat Massie because they disliked his positions on immigration or farming regulation. They did it because he opposes the U.S. relationship with their special interest, which is Israel.
Recognizing this merely requires common sense. Like how the pharmaceutical lobby opposes politicians who promise to lower drug prices, the Israeli lobby attacks candidates who seek to stop America from fighting Benjamin Netanyahu’s wars. So why would Cruz deny what every objective person can clearly see?
The answer is that he does not want the public to understand how Washington really works. For the system to remain intact, the population must believe that America really is a democracy. He wants to hypnotize citizens into thinking that voters alone determine their elected officials and that a small group of elites is definitely not secretly running the show.
The truth is the precise opposite, and Massie’s defeat proved it. If Israel First donors like Miriam Adelson and Paul Singer can buy a Kentucky congressional seat in a district that is less than 1% Jewish, then they can eliminate anyone from power who dares to reject their globalism. This is fine with Cruz because he is swimming in the same cash as Ed Gallrein. But it is a disaster for our country. The people have no power.
We know this all seems dark. The good news is that it will end soon. No matter what Cruz and his friends say, Massie’s primary made the reality of our corrupt political system impossible to keep hidden. It is all out in the open now. In time, voters will react with a ballot box revolt. We will cheer when they do.
