Mohammed Tamimi was shot in the face in December 2017. He was 14. He is a cousin of the now-famous activist Ahed Tamimi, who is on trial for slapping a fully armed IDF soldier, and may spend years in prison.

One of the most dangerous places in the world for children is the occupied Palestinian territories where, in the last year, at least 20 Palestinian children have been killed and over 1,000 others injured by Israeli forces. Gaza’s 1 million children are especially at risk, as food, medicine, and electricity are in short supply, and 97% of drinking water contaminated.
The world has Israel to thank for this man-made humanitarian crisis: Gaza has been under a brutal blockade for over 10 years, and both Gaza and the West Bank have been under an oppressive occupation for over 50 years. Indeed, since the establishment of the state of Israel on the historic land of Palestine in 1948, Palestinians have faced loss, difficulty, and often danger.
