Reporter Mike Wallace’s 1988 report on AIPAC, pro-Israel pacs, Senators Chuck Percy, John Chafee, diplomat George BAll, CBS poll showing that 72 percent of Americans felt Israel gets too much money… AIPAC set the tone for campaign donations to 80 pro-Israel pacs around the nation that gave candidates $6 million…

Senate committee approves AIPAC bill to give Israel $38 billion over 10 years, with additional perks

AIPAC President Mort Fridman sent supporters an email announcing: “Our work together just made a difference for Israel’s security and for its future.” He crowed that Congress passed legislation giving Israel almost $4 billion of US tax money, while taking away US aid to many Palestinian widows and orphans…

Historian Doug Rossinow discusses the creation of AIPAC, originally formed to spin positive PR after the 1953 Qibya Massacre (wiping out over 60 Palestinians in revenge for the killing of 3 Israelis). The organization has proven that nothing Israel can do can’t be spun to deflect the blame or attention elsewhere.
