IMPORTANT NOTE: The number of Palestinians being killed in Gaza is lower since the October 2025 “ceasefire” began, over 300 days ago – about 4 per day, vs. over 100 per day during the 733 days of the “war.” But Israel is actively working (with Trump’s “Board of Peace“) to ethnically cleanse Gaza of its Palestinian population, even as the low-level killing continues. Genocide experts, along with organizations like the United Nations and Amnesty International, maintain that the genocide is ongoing.
Two Palestinians, including a four-year-old, were killed and 14 others injured in Israeli attacks in central and southern Gaza Strip on Sunday.
Israel threatens assassinations, evacuations in Gaza over children’s kites: “A balloon is like a kite, and a kite is like a drone, whether it carries explosives or not,” Israel’s defense minister said. The Israeli army reported 4 recovered kites carried no suspicious material and posed no danger.
Hamas says the threat aims to enable Israel to kill children with impunity; analysts suggest it is an excuse to demand more evacuation, or a ploy to portray Netanyahu as tough on terrorism ahead of elections.

ISRAELI MEDIA: Stop Treating the Mass Killing in Gaza as a Series of IDF ‘Exceptions’ – It’s the Rule*: Criminal investigations isolate individual atrocities, while the genocide debate gets trapped in legal definitions. Both risk obscuring the policy that made tens of thousands of civilian deaths routine.
The central question is not who deviated from orders, but what policy created this outcome. The military acted according to an organized policy that set new thresholds for permissible civilian harm (“collateral damage”).
*NOTE: From the earliest days of the Gaza genocide, Israel has employed AI to systematically attack targeted people at home, while they were surrounded by family, instead of while they were engaged in military activity. One of the AI systems was called “Where’s Daddy?”
UK lawmakers demand Israeli government be held accountable for killing of journalists: A joint investigation has uncovered evidence of possible war crimes committed by the Israeli military in an August 2025 attack that killed at least 20, including journalists, first responders, and medics.
Members of Parliament have urged the government to “take the strongest measures” against Israel for the “double-tap” attack on one of the last functioning hospitals in Gaza, in one of many apparent war crimes and breaches of international humanitarian law.

Israeli Army Kills a Child* in Nablus: Israeli forces reportedly stormed the New Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus, on Sunday afternoon, shooting a 14-year-old Palestinian, Islam Ahmad Ajouri in the chest with live ammunition.
The child’s condition was described as very serious before he was pronounced dead from a critical gunshot to the chest.
*NOTE: Since the beginning of 2026, Israeli soldiers and illegal colonizers have killed 90 Palestinians (22 killed by settlers), including 24 children and 6 women in the occupied West Bank; nearly 1,200 have been killed since October 2023.

*NOTE: More than 780,000 settlers live illegally on Palestinian land in over almost 600 Jewish-only settlements and settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. In a landmark advisory opinion on July 19, 2024, the International Court of Justice declared Israel’s decades-long occupation of Palestinian land “illegal” and demanded the evacuation of all settlements.

For 15th day, illegal Israeli settlers besiege three Palestinian homes in Qusra: Illegal Israeli settlers block water and access to three Palestinian families as attacks on farmland continue across the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian-American determined to defend his Qusra home from Israeli settlers: Recently, not far away, settlers cut off a Palestinian family’s electricity and water, and blocked roads leading to the house. Siettlers stormed the property, forced the residents out at gunpoint, and took over the house, raising an Israeli flag on the roof. Louai Abu Ridi wants to protect his property from the same fate.
Israel just took another major step towards West Bank annexation: As settlers besiege Palestinian families in Qusra, Israel’s government responds by handing settlement security to the police of hardline minister Ben-Gvir- a move seen to further entrench Israeli annexation of the West Bank.

Israeli army used 30 years’ worth of ammunition in under 3 years of war: Report: Israeli Air Force activity during the period was also equivalent to roughly nine years of operations under normal conditions, while tanks and armored personnel carriers have gone through thousands of engines. The occupied West Bank consumes the largest share of military manpower.

LEBANON
Israel has invaded Lebanon seven times in the last half century. Between 1978 and 2000, Israel maintained an 18-year occupation of southern Lebanon — Hezbollah was formed to fight that occupation.
Israel Defense Minister Orders IDF to Escalate Demolitions in Southern Lebanon: A week after ordering the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to prepare for a “long-term stay” in occupied southern Lebanon, Defense Minister Israel Katz has now also ordered them to escalate the rate at which they’re destroying what is being framed as “Hezbollah infrastructure” across the south.
Israel Using White Phosphorus* Munitions Increasingly Often in Southern Lebanon: Israel has been confirmed to be using white phosphorus in southern Lebanon since the invasion began in March, and indeed there was evidence of such munitions being used against Lebanese territory in prior conflicts.
*NOTE: Use of white phosphorus in civilian areas is considered a war crime due to its extremely dangerous effects on the human body. White phosphorus ignites instantly when in contact with oxygen. It can burn through the human body, including through bone, causing severe, excruciating damage. It can also cause extreme harm when inhaled, with risks of suffocation, cardiovascular failure, coma, death, and other lifelong effects. The substance burns at temperatures of up to 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit.
US designates Hezbollah* an Iranian proxy, sanctions funding network: The US Treasury labels Lebanon-based group ‘an extension’ of the IRGC’s Quds Force and takes aim at financing.
*NOTE: Hezbollah, for its part, frames its actions as resistance, embedding itself within Lebanon’s political and social fabric while maintaining an armed wing more powerful than the Lebanese state itself. Brookings has described the group as a ‘state within a state’, simultaneously a political actor and militia. Between 1978 and 2000, Israel occupied southern Lebanon for 18 years — Hezbollah was formed to fight that occupation. Regarding the current escalation, Hezbollah has specifically said that it will keep fighting Israel until there is a ceasefire with Gaza.

Although Israel is not at war with Syria, the Israeli army has reportedly carried out over 1,600 violations inside Syrian territory since August 2025, and demanded the demilitarization of southern Syria – but also vowed to permanently occupy some areas.

US envoy Tom Barrack retracts comment that Syria’s Golan is occupied*: On Friday, Ambassador Barrack said Israel “still “occupies the territory during an interview with Lebanese-Australian businessman Mario Nawfal. Barrack now says the remark was a description of the territory’s historical status, “not an endorsement of the UN position” on the Golan Heights.
*NOTE: Israel seized the Syrian Golan Heights during the 1967 Middle East war and annexed it in 1981. The United Nations and most of the international community regard the area as occupied Syrian territory and do not recognize Israel’s annexation. In 2019, Trump recognized Israeli sovereignty over the territory, reversing decades of US policy.
The “annexation” of the Golan Heights was specifically condemned by the UN Security Council in Resolution 497 (more here and here).
