IMPORTANT NOTE: The number of Palestinians being killed in Gaza is lower since the October 2025 “ceasefire” began, just over 300 days ago – about 4 per day, vs. over 100 per day during the 733 days of the “war.” But Israel is actively working (with Trump’s “Board of Peace“) to ethnically cleanse Gaza of its Palestinian population, even as the low-level killing continues. Genocide experts, along with organizations like the United Nations and Amnesty International, maintain that the genocide is ongoing.
A Palestinian girl, Saba al-Hashash, 13, died Monday of wounds from Israeli gunfire in Gaza. Samoud Al-Rabai’a said her daughter Saba al-Hashash died after Israeli forces shot her on Saturday, August 8, as she went to recite to her Quran teacher in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, in Gaza. “Everyone in the mosque was a child, no older than 15, along with their teacher,” she told Drop Site, describing Israeli tank and quadcopter fire directed at the prayer area. “Why target children? Don’t they know where they’re shooting?”
Israel Acknowledges Death of Palestinian Detainee From Gaza: Israeli authorities have reportedly acknowledged the death of detainee Ehab Mohammad Abdul‑Qader Diab, 36, from the Gaza Strip, who was abducted on December 12, 2023. He died on September 18, 2024. Israel claimed he had suffered from “health issues”; his family insists he was healthy at the time of his abduction and had no medical conditions.
With Diab’s death, the number of Palestinian detainees who have died in Israeli custody since 1967 rises to 328, including 91 killed after October 7, among them 53 from Gaza.
Pregnancies shadowed by fear as miscarriage haunts Palestinian women in Gaza: ‘I fear my child may have deformities or problems because of the harsh conditions and the heat,’ said one expectant mother. Miscarriages rose 3.3 times in first half of 2026 compared with second half of 2025, Gaza Health Ministry figures show.
Israel’s siege cripples transport system in Gaza, cuts off food and medicine, pushing residents back toward famine: Israel persists in maintaining its illegal siege on Gaza, intentionally disrupting transportation and freight by destroying trucks and warehouses of transport companies. It also targets and detains drivers and blocks the entry of trucks, spare parts, and essential materials. This obstructs the delivery of food, medicine, and aid through crossings to the people, risking a return to famine in the Gaza Strip.

*NOTE: After imposing severe restrictions on aid to Gaza for months and causing widespread hunger and hundreds of deaths due to starvation, the October 2025 ceasefire terms required Israel to surge massive quantities of aid into Gaza (600 trucks a day – actually a modest amount given the circumstances). More than 10 months into the ceasefire, the entry of aid is well below the amount agreed upon – about 87 truckloads per day (as of Aug. 7, 2026).

‘Is this how our story ends?’ Palestinian refugees live in fear as Israel takes aim at West Bank camps: Amid escalating raids and statements by Israeli officials promising a massive military operation against refugee camps in the West Bank, Palestinians in Ramallah-area camps say it’s not a question of whether their turn will come, but when.

Israel is a tiny country, about the size of New Jersey, with a population smaller than the US state of Georgia – about 10 million (of which about 20 percent are Palestinians), yet it is in the news constantly. As has been demonstrated again and again, however, mainstream media rarely covers Israel news accurately. IAK gets the facts – sometimes from Israeli media sites, where we can get a glimpse inside this country that is rife with turmoil and contradictions, and that receives $63 million a day from America.
Netanyahu faces pushback from Kushner as tensions mount over Gaza roadmap*: Report: “You’re throwing a wrench into the idea that you wanted,” Kushner reportedly told Netanyahu, accusing him of obstructing the Gaza roadmap. as it moved toward implementation.
*NOTE: Netanyahu has been working against peace with Gaza nonstop for years, including during the current negotiations. According to the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, signed by Hamas and Israel on October 9, 2025, the IDF was required to withdraw troops to specified lines and not return; all military operations were to be suspended; and Israel was to begin allowing entry of at least 600 truckloads of humanitarian aid per day.

It can not be overemphasized that Israel is the impetus behind US policies and actions vis-a-vis Iran. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has been pushing the US to attack Iran for decades, using lies and deception. Under President Trump, he got his wish.
Israel has invaded Lebanon seven times in the last half century. Between 1978 and 2000, Israel maintained an 18-year occupation of southern Lebanon — Hezbollah was formed to fight that occupation.
Although Israel is not at war with Syria, the Israeli army has reportedly carried out over 1,600 violations inside Syrian territory since August 2025, and demanded the demilitarization of southern Syria – but also vowed to permanently occupy some areas.
