IMPORTANT NOTE: The number of Palestinians being killed in Gaza is lower since the October 2025 “ceasefire” began, over 300 days ago – about 4 per day, vs. over 100 per day during the 733 days of the “war.” But Israel is actively working (with Trump’s “Board of Peace“) to ethnically cleanse Gaza of its Palestinian population, even as the low-level killing continues. Genocide experts, along with organizations like the United Nations and Amnesty International, maintain that the genocide is ongoing.
Israeli attacks Saturday killed at least one Palestinian and wounded several others across Gaza.
An IDF tank was struck by a Hamas explosive device in the southern Gaza Strip, the military said on Saturday, decrying the incident as a “grave” violation of the ceasefire* in the enclave.
*NOTE: It is laughable for the IDF to accuse Hamas of violating the ceasefire. According to the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, signed by Hamas and Israel on October 9, 2025 – the very agreement Israel claims Hamas violated – the IDF was required to withdraw troops to specified lines and not return; all military operations were to be suspended; and Israel was to begin allowing entry of at least 600 truckloads of humanitarian aid per day.
Today, Israel has not only not withdrawn, it is holding more of Gaza than before – from 53% to approaching 70% (with possible plans for 100%); military operations have continued, with almost daily attacks and at least1,262 Palestinians killed; and an average of about 86 truckloads of aid have entered Gaza per day (as of Aug. 14, 2026).
DEATH TOLL – GAZA GENOCIDE (tentative):
- At least 1,262 since “ceasefire” began Oct. 11, 2025 (270 children). Children, women, and the elderly account for 35.3% of those killed and 49.1% of those wounded.
- 5 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Gaza since the ceasefire began – one by friendly fire, and four others in incidents during the first three weeks of the ceasefire.

ISRAELI MEDIA: Settlers Continue to Roam West Bank Villages, Harass Palestinians Despite Massive IDF Presence: A large number of troops have been deployed around the mountain villages of Qusra and Jalud, but they have been unable to remove the settlers from the area.
Ziv Stahl, CEO of Yesh Din, an organization that represents Palestinian families in the area, said in an interview with CNN, “I think Qusra is an extreme manifestation of the Israeli policy in the West Bank. We have settler violence and settlement expansion, which enjoys or is met with impunity and support by the government. As you know, settler violence is expanding, is going to areas that we haven’t seen it before and is met with no accountability whatsoever.”
Amnesty Int’l: Siege of Palestinian Homes in Qusra Marks Relentless Escalation in State-Backed Settler Violence: “Israel, as the occupying power, has a legal obligation to protect the Palestinian population under its control and not to stand by or worse, stand with settlers – while they lay siege to Palestinian homes and cut off families’ access to healthcare, electricity and water for days on end. States must end any form of direct and indirect support for Israel’s unlawful occupation of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and its brutal system of apartheid, including its illegal settlement enterprise.”
The United States reportedly wants Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to publicly condemn the siege imposed by extremist settlers on homes in the Palestinian village of Qusra, as the siege continued for the sixth day with no clear end in sight, and with the reason for the lack of enforcement against the settlers unclear. Netanyahu has remained silent since the settlers first established an illegal outpost outside the family homes on Sunday. (Video below.)
ISRAELI MEDIA: Jewish men permitted to pray on Temple Mount with prayer books for first time, Ben-Gvir confirms: Under the longstanding status quo, Jews and Christians are permitted to visit the Temple Mount but are generally prohibited from praying there, while Muslims are permitted to worship. In January, under Ben Gvir, Israel Police began allowing Jews to enter with a single printed prayer page prepared in advance. Now, Jewish men are reportedly permitted to bring prayer books onto the Temple Mount, and to pray.

ISRAELI MEDIA: What Israel Began in Gaza Is Spreading to Palestinians Everywhere*: Israel treats Gaza as a war, the West Bank as a security dispute, and the weeks-long withholding of a Palestinian body as a procedural issue, compartmentalizing Palestinians in ways that obscure the broader project connecting them.
*NOTE: Israel has long denied UN investigators and international human rights groups entry to Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
IRAN, LEBANON, & SYRIA – NEWS & HEADLINES:
It can not be overemphasized that Israel is the impetus behind US policies and actions vis-a-vis Iran. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu has been pushing the US to attack Iran for decades, using lies and deception. Under President Trump, he got his wish.
Israel has invaded Lebanon seven times in the last half century. Between 1978 and 2000, Israel maintained an 18-year occupation of southern Lebanon — Hezbollah was formed to fight that occupation.
Although Israel is not at war with Syria, the Israeli army has reportedly carried out over 1,600 violations inside Syrian territory since August 2025, and demanded the demilitarization of southern Syria – but also vowed to permanently occupy some areas.

LEBANON
Lebanese authorities reported that at least 11 people, including two women and three children, were killed in Israeli strikes on the towns of Ansar and Deir-al-Zahrani on Saturday. Israeli PM Netanyahu said the strikes came in response to an earlier Hezbollah attack on Israeli personnel, which he claimed had “seriously injured” three IDF soldiers.
