Israeli Attacks Kill Ten Palestinians in Gaza

Reposted from IMEMC, September 30, 2026

Israeli forces killed ten Palestinians and injured at least thirteen others, including children and displaced people, in attacks across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday (September 29), according to medical sources and Palestinian media reports. Because several reports did not provide precise casualty numbers, the injury toll remains preliminary.

In northern Gaza, an Israeli attack on the Halawa displacement camp in Jabalia killed four Palestinians: Ahmad Akram Hammouda, Mousa Shaaban Mohammad Shaaban, Abdullah Khader an-Najjar, and Mohammad Ahmad an-Najjar. Reports said seven others, including two children, were injured.

Also in northern Gaza, an Israeli drone strike near the Fakhoura clinic in the Jabalia refugee camp killed Musab al-Balbisi, director of the Anti-Narcotics Service at the Beit Lahia Police Center, according to Palestinian media reports.

In Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike on an apartment in the al-Nasr neighborhood killed Ezzeddine Abdul-Aziz al-Beik and Mohannad Abu al-Foul. Medical sources reported that several others, including children, were injured.

Elsewhere in Gaza City, an Israeli drone strike in the al-Tuffah neighborhood killed Mohammad Jamal Abu al-Sha’ar, according to local reports.

Three Palestinians, including a woman, were injured by shrapnel after an Israeli strike hit an empty building on Baghdad Street in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood. The fragments reached a nearby displacement camp, and the wounded were taken to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital.

In southern Gaza, Rania Maher Salama Sa’ad died from wounds she sustained earlier from Israeli fire in the al-Mawasi area of Rafah. A teacher was also injured by Israeli gunfire inside Sheikh Jaber School, west of Khan Younis.

In central Gaza, Israeli forces shot and killed Ahmad Abu Mour on Salahuddin Road in Deir al-Balah, Palestinian media reported.

Israeli forces also carried out demolitions east of Gaza City and in Rafah, while artillery fire and airstrikes were reported in several areas of the Gaza Strip.

The casualty count rose throughout the day as hospitals and local reporters announced additional deaths. The ten deaths listed above reflect the latest available reporting, while the injury toll remains provisional because several reports did not specify how many people were wounded.

The incident-level reports document at least thirteen injuries: seven in the Halawa camp attack, at least two in the al-Nasr apartment attack, three in Shuja’iyya, and one teacher west of Khan Younis. Additional unquantified injuries were reported elsewhere.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said that, from the start of the “ceasefire” on October 11, 2025, through Tuesday, Israeli attacks killed 1,422 Palestinians and injured 4,996 others, while recovery crews retrieved the bodies of 834 Palestinians.

The ministry placed the cumulative toll since October 7, 2023, at 74,023 Palestinians killed and 175,111 injured.

These figures remain provisional due to the scale of destruction, ongoing conditions on the ground, and the inability of ambulance and civil defense crews to reach victims trapped beneath rubble, lying in the streets, or located in inaccessible areas across the Gaza Strip.
