Ahmad Al-Manasra has been in Israeli prison since age 13, and suffers from prison-related mental illness. A hearing to review the now 21-year-old Manasra’s case is being held today.
March 30th is Land Day, an annual commemoration of those killed protesting Israeli theft of Palestinian lands 46 years ago. But even now, there is a Nakba everywhere you look.

To legitimise the state of permanent war, Israel sought early on to portray its citizens as actual or potential victims of wars and persecution inflicted by Palestinian resistance and Arab states, which in turn necessitated Israel’s use of permanent war and persecution as “retaliation”.
