Racism was part of the birth of the state of Israel; apartheid is part of its fabric. Nelson Mandela agreed. Palestinians struggle for equality, as do people of color (both Jewish and non-Jewish).
There’s no longer any real debate in Israel. The right wants to annex Palestinian land openly, and the center wants to annex, but deceive us. All that’s left now is to admit to the world that in reality Israel annexed the West Bank many years ago… it’s one country with an apartheid system.

Findley’s documentation of the suppression of their freedom of speech was an early precursor of what is going on now…”
Constantly referring to Israel as our “most cherished ally” promotes an illusion of common interest that does not actually exist. In actuality, Israel is a liability.

New York Times recent editorials make it sound as if the war looming between the US and Iran is equally the fault of both countries, or of some inexplicable, inevitable force, rather than the result of US actions. This framing hides US governmental responsibility, and makes it harder for the public to judge intelligently where to place blame.
There’s a good reason she met with Assad, but the media doesn’t want to talk about the facts that Gabbard saw in the Iraq regime change war and that she understands about Syria….
